Food and its effect on hemorrhoids and anal diseases
The diet we follow in our daily lives is closely related to anorectal diseases. It is well known that some foods constitute risk factors for anal diseases, such as spicy foods that lead to hemorrhoids, deep-fried food and red meat in abundance, which leads to constipation, which in turn causes the patient to have anal fissures and hemorrhoids.
Such unhealthy diet can sometimes cause the patient, who recently recovered from these diseases whether by a surgical procedure or a medical treatment ,to feel the symptoms again and believe that the hemorrhoids, fissure, or fistula have returned again. This is because these food cause issues such as chronic constipation or chronic diarrhea, obesity, and difficulty in bowel movement, among others.
At Hemocure clinics, we provide the patient with therapeutic nutrition sessions with Dr. Yasmine Magdy, a clinical nutrition specialist to ensure a healthy lifestyle that prevents anorectal diseases and even other organic diseases.
